Places.com makes it easier to locate places, find out more about them, remember them, get directions, post pictures, and attach notes for reference later. Places.com remembers important place specific details, keeping you organized and saving you time.
To find out about a place, you need to reach the map screen of the place. From the map screen, you can see a map to the place, see what’s nearby, read what Google and Yelp have to say about the place, get directions, call the place, email the place’s location to someone or save it in your database.
There are several ways to get to a map screen depending on what you’re looking for and where you are. The following picture illustrates how to reach a map screen and the map screen functions.

Places.com uses the geocoordinates of the place to retrieve most information. It uses your geolocation to determine the map and directions from your current location to the place.
